About the event
Interested in getting familiar with backcountry skiing, or hoping to get some spring-season turns? Join us for a Cog lap! Bootpacking and skinning are welcome (as are splitboarders, of course!). This run is a 5.6-mi out-and-back, most likely turning back at or before Jacob's Ladder — conditions depending.
All levels of backcountry skiers are welcome, from Chicks who are learning how to use their touring setups, to seasoned backcountry gals! A good rule of thumb for Cog backcountry skiing is: participants should feel comfortable skiing an East Coast resort black, with occasional bumps. The leader for this trip is: Kaileigh!
Crampons OR microspikes are required for this adventure.
