WAITLIST ONLY. This one-night backpacking trip is a flexible introduction to Mount Washington’s eastern side, perfect for anyone looking for a gentle introduction to backpacking, filled with all the tips, tricks, and processes you'll need for future excursions. This adventure is led by Lindsey B!

We’ll begin at the AMC Pinkham Notch Visitor Center where there are restrooms and a chance to get organized before starting. Your lead will be there at 9:00 A.M. if you would like to participate in a gear check, and the group will leave at 10 A.M from the Pinkham Notch Visitor Center. The hike follows the Tuckerman Ravine Trail, a wide, well-marked path that climbs steadily through shaded forest. The trail is rocky and rooted in places, but not technical, and we’ll keep a…
