About the event
This will be a 5-mile loop that starts with a more technical climb and descent. We will then go into an easier loop around the preserve through beautiful forested areas. This is an Advanced Beginner — Intermediate ride. All riders should be comfortable navigating rocky and rooty trails and wide wooden bridges. Parts of this trail may be hard to navigate for beginner riders, but we welcome everyone to ride their own ride. There is always the option to look at a trail before riding it and dismount and walk the bike over difficult sections if that feels more comfortable. This ride is no drop, meaning that we will stop and take breaks as a group, or slow down when needed by anyone.
