About the event
The Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race, held annually on the third weekend of April, is the largest paddling event in New England and one of the largest in the country.
Hosted by the Bangor Dept. of Parks & Recreation, the 16.5-mile race begins in the Town of Kenduskeag and ends near the confluence of the Penobscot River in downtown Bangor.
Registration is now open for this event directly on the Race's website! After registering here to let us know you'll be there with Chicks on Cliffs, please officially register on their site, as well. The early bird fee is live until March 30th. The race's entry fee is $50 per person. Please let us know if this is a barrier to entry for you; we will do our best to organize solutions.
