About the event
This backpacking trip is a level two introduction to backpacking in the rugged White Mountain National Forest. For this trip, you will work with your trip lead, Lindsey, to ensure you are equipped, as a full backpacking setup will be required, including a tent, sleeping bag, and water filtration system.
We’ll begin at the Garfield Trailhead, where you will have the chance to get organized before starting. Your lead will be there at 8:00 A.M. if you would like to participate in a gear check. Otherwise, we will start hiking at 8:30 A.M. Please be mindful that this parking lot does not have restrooms; it may be beneficial to go to a public facility nearby.
