About the event
Mount Monadnock is a hard 4-mile loop scramble with 1,774 feet of elevation gain in Southern New Hampshire. Participants will arrive by 7:30 AM at the rest area near the trail entrance (restrooms, changing rooms, and water stations available), and head up the mountain no later than 8:00 AM. The leader of this adventure is: Becca!
The pace of this hike will be slow — folks will take their time! This is a great introduction to hiking rock scrambles.
Parking: Highly recommended to purchase in advance on the state park website, as it can get busy.
Dogs: No dogs allowed in Monadnock State Park. If you bring a dog, you will be turned away by the ranger.
