Join us for an overnight at Sterling Pond at the top of Smugglers Notch in Vermont! This will be about a 2.2-mile hike round-trip with 1000 feet of elevation. At Sterling Pond, we will camp, swim, and hang out! This is a great intro to backpacking.

Chicks on Cliffs Difficulty Rating: 2 out of 5. This hike is on the shorter side, but has substantial elevation gain in a short mileage.
This event is an overnight trip (in between backpacking and camping) at Sterling Pond at the top of Smugglers Notch in Vermont! This hike will be about 2.2 miles round trip (1.1 miles on day 1 and 1.1 miles on day 2), with 1,000 feet of elevation gain. We'll camp out, swim in the pond, play card games, hang out, and hike back out in the morning. The leader of this overnight is Sophie!
